SILURI D 8 Combipack ( Silodosin ) to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

How it Work

Silodosin acts as an α₁-adrenoceptor antagonist with high uroselectivity (selectivity for the prostate). So It works by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate. Hence decreases the urge to urinate repeatedly. Moreover it helps easy passage of urine.

Dutasteride is a 5α-reductase inhibitor which prevents the conversion of the androgen sex hormone testosterone into the more potent dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Hence it helps to shrink the prostate and relieve the symptoms like difficulty in passing urine.
