FORMITOL; Methylcobalamin. It’s used as a dietary supplement and to treat certain anemias. Vitamin B12 plays an important role in helping the body make red blood cells.

How it Work
Methylcobalamin that is ingested is not used directly as a cofactor but is first converted by MMACHC into cob(II)alamin. Cob(II)alamin is then later converted into the other 2 forms, adenosylcobalamin and methylcobalamin for use as cofactors. That is, methylcobalamin is first dealkylated and then regenerated.L-Methylfolate is the only form of folic acid that crosses the blood-brain barrier and plays a role in neurotransmitter synthesis. It indirectly facilitates the synthesis of serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine, three neurotransmitters involved in mood regulation and other important functions.
