Uses of   EZZICAD 10 mg Tablet

EZZICAD ,( Ezetimibe ) is a drug that lowers plasma cholesterol levels. Hence  Either It reduce levels of certain lipids in people with primary hyperlipidemia, alone or with a statin Or It reduce levels of certain lipids in people with mixed hyperlipidemia, in combination with fenofibrate.

How it Work 

Ezetimibe inhibits the absorption of cholesterol from the small intestine and decreases the amount of cholesterol normally available to liver cells, leading them to absorb more from circulation and Hence lowering levels of circulating cholesterol.

Ezetimibe; Common side effects are headache, nausea, allergic reaction, musculoskeletal pain, diarrhoea, rise in Liver function test or
