ASOMEX 2.5 mg, S-amlodipine in the treatment of high blood pressure and angina.

How it Work

S-amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker.

It blocks the transmembrane influx of calcium into the vascular and cardiac smooth muscles resulting in vasodilation and hence a fall in blood pressure. Hence lower the blood pressure.
