ZENDOL, ( Danazol ), primarily in the treatment of Endometriosis, Menorrhagia, Fibrocystic breast disease and so Breast pain.

How it Work

Danazol is a synthetic steroid primarily for the treatment of endometriosis. As direct binding to and activation of sex hormone receptors, consequent displacement of steroid hormones from these proteins Hence, the drug is characterize as a weak androgen and anabolic, a weak progestogen, a weak anti-gonadotropin, and a functional anti-estrogen.

Common Side Effects

Common side effect includes; experience unwanted hair growth (hirsutism), acne, irreversible deepening of the voice, or adverse blood lipid profiles. In addition, breast atrophy and decreased breast size may occur. The drug may also cause hot flashes, elevation of liver enzymes, and mood changes.
