ROSEDAY A 10 Forte Capsule, ( Rosuvastatin ) The primary use of rosuvastatin is for the treatment of dyslipidemia ( abnormal amount of lipids e.g. triglycerides, cholesterol and/or fat phospholipids) in the blood and for prevention of events associated with cardiovascular disease. Hence lowers the cholesterol and triglycerides in blood. Also for lowering LDL level in blood.
Aspirin is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug(NSAID) and works similar to other NSAIDs but it is also an antiplatelet and suppresses the normal functioning of platelets. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain, swelling, and blood clots.
How it Work
Rosuvastatin works by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme found in liver tissue that plays a key role in production of cholesterol in the body. Hence it lowers ( LDL ) bad cholesterol and triglycerides and ( HDL ) raise good cholesterol.

Common Side Effects
Rosuvastatin; Common side effects are headache, nausea, allergic reaction, musculoskeletal pain, rise in liver enzyme, sore throat, chill, diarrhoea or constipation, rise in glucose level in blood and flatulence.
Aspirin; Common side effects include an upset stomach. More significant side effects include stomach ulcers, stomach bleeding, and worsening asthma. Bleeding risk is greater among those who are older, drink alcohol, take other NSAIDs, or are on blood thinners. Aspirin is not for the last part of pregnancy.
