Uses of  ROPARK 1 mg XL Tablet

ROPARK, ( Ropinirole ) is an antiparkinsonian agent. Treatment of Parkinson’s disease, restless legs syndrome and extrapyramidal symptoms. Hence, It enhances working memory capacities in normal aging adults.

How it Work

It is a dopamine agonist which acts as a D₂ and D₃ receptor agonist. So in age-related memory impairment, it has a positive effect on the psychophysiological state of elderly people. Hence, treat Parkinson’s disease. Hence, Ropinirole is metabolized to form two metabolites both of which are renaly excreted.  It can also reduce the side effects caused by selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors.

 Common Side Effects

Common side effects include; nausea, vomiting, flatulence, Orthostatic hypotension, hallucinations, and dizziness.
