Repaglinide  is a drug for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. It is an anti-diabetic drug in the class of medications known as meglitinides, Same as nateglinide, It is an oral medication use in addition to diet and exercise for blood sugar control in type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Contraindications

Patients who:

• have known hypersensitivity to the compound or any ingredient in the formulation.
• with type 1 (namely insulin-dependent) diabetes mellitus.
• are in diabetic ketoacidosis.
