INTIMACY PLUS,  ( Ethinyl Estradiol  ) is the primary female sex hormone. It is responsible for the development and regulation of the female reproductive system and secondary sex characteristics. Ethinyl Estradiol is essential for the development and maintenance of female reproductive tissues such as the breasts, uterus, and vagina during puberty, adulthood, and pregnancy. Hence as hormone replacement therapy if use alone, otherwise  post menopausal osteoporosis, contraceptive.

( Desogestrel ) both alone and in combination with an estrogen such as Ethinyl estradiol in hormonal contraceptives.
