GTN 2.6 mg Tablet, is a medication most commonly used for heart diseases. This specifically includes Angina pectoris, Chronic heart failure.

How it Work 

Glyceryl trinitrate belongs to a group of drugs called nitrates. Which includes many other nitrates like Isosorbide dinitrate, Isosorbide mononitrate. for angina pectoris, a painful symptom of ischemic heart disease caused by inadequate flow of blood and oxygen to the heart and as a potent antihypertensive agent. Further Nitrates corrects the imbalance between the flow of oxygen and blood to the heart. So relax the heart muscles.

Common side effects include headache, feeling tired, orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing).
