FERTGYN HP, Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), is a hormone which plays different roles in male and female sexual development. In women, hCG affects ovulation and fertility. How it Work

Human chorionic gonadotropin interacts with the LHCG receptor of the ovary and promotes the maintenance of the corpus luteum during the beginning of pregnancy.
