Uses of  DOXACARD 4 mg Tablet

DOXACARD, ( Doxazosin ) for the treatment High blood pressure ( hypertension ). Also for treatment of symptoms of an enlarged prostate (BPH). It also acts to lower the blood pressure, and is therefore a drug of choice for men with hypertension and prostate enlargement.

How it Work

It is a selective alpha-1 antagonist .It works by blocking the action of adrenaline on smooth muscle of the bladder and the blood vessel walls. Hence it lowers blood pressure and relax the urinary bladder.

Common Side Effects

Common side effects include Headache, Nausea, dizziness, low blood pressure, lack of energy, constipation and loss of appetite.
