DEPO PROVERA,  ( Medroxyprogesterone  ) is a hormonal medication of the progestin type. as birth control and as part of hormone replacement therapy for menopausal symptoms. It is also to treat endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, abnormal sexuality in males, and certain types of cancer. Medroxyprogesterone is used by mouth or injection into a muscle or under the skin.

How it Work 

In women, it act as hormone replacement therapy in the uterus by replacing the amount of oestrogen. Hence menstruation ocures that some women missing.
