Uses of  ARBITEL TRIO 25 mg Tablet

ARBITEL TRIO 25 mg Tablet, ( Telmisartan ) for the treatment High blood pressure ( hypertension ).

( Metoprolol ), to treat high blood pressure, chest pain due to poor blood flow to the heart, and a number of conditions involving an abnormally fast heart rate.

Cilnidipine,  to manage hypertension.

How it Work

Telmisartan is angiotensin II receptor antagonists. It works by relaxing blood vessels which lower the blood pressure and also reduces the workload on the heart. Moreover, It is believed that telmisartan’s dual mode of action may provide protective benefits against the vascular and renal damage caused by diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Metoprolol, is a medication of the selective β1 receptor blocker type.

Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker.  Unlike other calcium antagonists, Cilnidipine can act on the N-type calcium channel in addition to acting on the L-type calcium channel. Hence it reduces blood pressure.

Common Side Effects

Telmisartan; Common Side effects are similar to other angiotensin II receptor antagonists and include tachycardia and bradycardia (fast or slow heartbeat), hypotension (low blood pressure), edema Such as (swelling of arms, legs, lips, tongue, or throat, the latter leading to breathing problems), and allergic reactions.

Metoprolol; Common side effects include trouble sleeping, feeling tired, feeling faint, low blood pressure and abdominal discomfort.

Common side effects of Cilnidipine is a peripheral edema.
