ACETEN,  ( Captopril ) is a medication for heart diseases. This includes High blood pressure ( hypertension ),  heart failure, and Preservation of kidney function in diabetic nephropathy.

How it Work 

Captopril, is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It act by dilating the blood vessels and Hence lowering the blood pressure. As a result it relaxes the heart.

Common Side Effects

Common side effects include Headache, Nausea, Increased potassium level in blood. Also above all metalic taste and cough.
